When we say Malleshwaram eateries then the places that come to our mind are Veena stores, Raghavendra stores, or say the very own CTR. All these places are iconic for their own and known reasons. But, there’s more to explore. You might have definitely been to this hotel. It is a go-to food point we have in the area which is pretty old and legendary – New Krishna Bhavan.
On a usual note, this places gets missed out and we think that it is quite underrated when compared. It is located just opposite to Mantri mall serving wide varieties of food. So, come let’s get into details and know about specialties served here.
The Menu Of New Krishna Bhavan
Without a second thought, new Krishna Bhavan is one of the best places to have breakfast in Bengaluru. It is a Darshini which has an old-world charm to it giving you the good-old memories of gone-days of the city. So, an early morning ride or an evening walk to this place has always been a wonderful experience for us.
It has everything South-Indian from Dose, Idli, Khara Bath, to your Vade sambar and Pongal. The menu is pretty diverse for a reason that it has varieties from different parts of Karnataka. You may go as per your taste and preference but largely, new Krishna Bhavan has its own trademark items which you cannot afford to miss.
Specialties Of New Krishna Bhavan
Yes, your first order at this place has to be Green Masala Idli. Never ever think about other items before you taste Green Masala Idli, their basically small button idlis soaked in a spicy green masala. It tastes damn good and when we say that, we really mean it.
Moving on, you have a lot of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada dishes, right from buns, neer dose, golibaji, to bonda soup, and Kotte kadabu. Besides this, Ragi Dose, Akki rotti, and paddu are equally awesome.
If You Are A Sweet Lover!
Then you got to taste Gulab Jamun, Champakali, Rasgulla, and Badam Halwa, of course, not at once. Come back again to try more varieties in sweets and desserts.
And, of course filter coffee without a miss!
Food is great and if you are thinking about the service then we have to say that it is decently good. Sometimes, you may have to wait for your orders. Overall, it is a good-some place in Malleshwaram to walk in for an amazingly delicious breakfast.
