What to do today? It is so boring. Let’s go to Goa or let us plan an Ooty trip? Did you get these thoughts and felt to do something crazy and wacky? Well, if you are living in Bengaluru then the city has a hell lot of options to wake up up that craziest person inside you. You might have heard or read about places like MG Road, Nandi Hills, Vidyarthi Bhavan, Cubbon Park, Bannerghatta forests, Rangashankara, and others as the best places to visit in Bengaluru. Well, they are but the city has much more to you in its store. Have you tasted Golgappas with Vodka or ever had an opportunity to take a wine tour? I know that I’m driving you crazy and curious. Without making much delay, let me introduce and take you through the craziest things to do in Bangalore.
Craziest Things To Do in Bangalore
Parasailing & Microlight flying – Jakkur
Parasailing tops the list and yes without a second thought, the microlight flying will make you go crazy and amazingly mad. The feel of soaring in the blue skies like a bird is a lifetime experience which you cannot afford to miss. The sight from the top is so mesmerizing and the city looks so stunning that only your forbearance has an explanation to it.
If you wish to challenge the fear inside you then take up this parasailing at Jakkur Aerodrome. They organize this microlight flying on every Saturday and Sunday. For a weekend fly, you will have to make a group booking in advance.
Solo – Rs.600 and Tandem – Rs.1100
Trash Trail
The name sounds Bizzare but Trash trial is such an experience that it will leave you liberating and come back as a changed person. You may choose any of the places listed in our blog articles but I personally recommend to take a trash trail tour when you are here in Bengaluru.
It is a one day ‘know your bin’ tour which gets you an experience of what, where, and how of our city waste and garbage is handled. Where it is dumped? How it is segregated; recycled; who are those people involved and everything about garbage management of Bangalore. The intention is to spread an awareness about the task that it takes to clean the city right from garbage collection to its management. It is an amazing social event that every Bangalorean must take a part.
The trip starts at 7.30 AM and ends about 4 PM. The next tour is on June 25th. For more info, contact BBMP.
Wine tour – Ramanagara
If you wish to try something new then take a Wine Tour in Ramanagara of Bangalore. It will be for 60 minutes that starts at 10.30 AM. Know everything about Wine, its history, cultivation, fermentation and take a walk in the vineyard. The amazing part about the tour is that you will be given a sample of 5 variants of wine to taste. This 60 minutes of your life will make you an incredible wine connoisseur.

Golgappa with Vodka and Coconut Water
This is the best and the craziest thing you can ever do in Bangalore. What else can add to your list of crazy things to do than tasting Golgappa with Vodka. Wondering where? Come to Punjabi by nature, Koramangala. They serve Golgappas with vodka of 4 different flavors like aampaana, jaljeer, tamarind, and pepper.
Well, I have to say that this is the most expensive golgappa plate that I have ever tasted. Pretty pricey but interestingly wacky. If you go to thengumane of Rajajinagar then you can taste Golgappas with a pani made of coconout water. It cannot match the sober taste of normal pani pure but you can try once. Definitely, one of the craziest things to do in Bangalore.

An Evening in Jayanagar
Jayanagar is one of my favorite locations of Bangalore. I had been in Richmond town, Ulsoor, Vijayanagar, Rajajinagar but Jayanagar is special for me. If you are lazing out on Weekends then come to Jayanagar. Watch a play at Rangashankara from 3 pm – 5 pm, go to Raagigudda Anjaneya temple which is nearby and then visit Hari super sandwich and have some deliciously amazing sandwiches which I recommend as Bengaluru’s best. Jayanagar’s ambiance will definitely impress you.
Pecos Bar
Pecos Bar is an another place which is a classic yet gorgeously made venue to spend your evening. You can go crazy here and the ambiance will make you so. It was started way back in 1989 and today it is one of the iconic retro rock pub of the city. You have all the amenities that you expect in a pub but one thing that I caught my attention is the amazing wall posters. The Pecos has the most creative artistic works created by local Bangalore artists. Again, ‘a must visit place’ of Bangalore.
