Tit-Bit: In line with IPL matches and the craze of people towards the game, Bengaluru Metro will run till 12:30 AM, as against the usual 11 PM, on all the days when there is a match being played in the city’s Chinnaswamy stadium.
BMRCL has extended the service owing to a rise in ridership of above 4 lakh during IPL season and to make the transport easy in the dark hours.

Pre-Printed Tickets
It is for the very first time, BMRCL is using pre-printed tickets (return journey tickets) with extended service applicable for both Purple and Green lines. With a train frequency of about 1.5 minutes, this is a Bombat IPL gift from BMRCL to all the IPL enthusiast Bengalurians in the city.
The Pre-Printed tickets (return journey tickets) can be purchased from any metro station and they shall be valid from 4 PM until the last train.
Regular Discounts continue for smart-card holders
The smart-card holders will enjoy the regular discounts and also cut the waiting time in the queue.
BMRCL said, “The cost of each paper ticket will be Rs.50. It can be used only for travel from Cubbon Park and MG road metro stations to any station along Purple and Green lines.”
