There have been rumors on WhatsApp stating that Veteran Kannada actor and filmmaker Dwarakish has passed away, following which fans started expressing their condolence messages on social media sites. But, the actor has released a video with a statement saying that he is fine and well.
The rumors spread in social media turned out to be fake. Director Chaitanya KM gave a clarification on Twitter when the speculations started going viral. “This is to clarify once again. Dwarakish sir is fine and well. Please don’t allow rumors to spread. [sic]”

Being the latest victim of a death hoax, Dwarakish himself issued a statement in a video to put an end to the rumors. “Hello everyone, this is your Karnatakada Kulla. I am fine and healthy. Please do not believe any rumors on my health,” Dwarakish said. He added that with people’s blessings and love he is “doing well.”
Dwarakish is a multifaceted actor, who has produced and directed quality movies in Kannada. Known as Prachanda Kulla by his fans, he has directed, acted and also produced movies of legends like Dr. Rajkumar and Dr. Vishnuvardhan.
