Karnataka has been host to plenty of splendid writers, all of whom have blended to feed us with a rich literary heritage. Kannada novels are one of the best in the country, and it may not be a bad idea for the filmmakers in our state to fall back on them for quality themes and stories.
While in the yesteryear, movies and novels traveled in conforming paths, in the modern times, these roads have hardly intersected.
