The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), on August 21st, busted a racket in Bengaluru, that reportedly supplied drugs to VIP’s, college students and prominent Sandalwood individuals.

This drug racket’s kingpin is a former TV actor
Three people were arrested by NCB in Bengaluru in connection to the case. M Anoop, R Ravindran, and Anikha D were arrested, and it is said that Anikha is the leader of the group. Shockingly, Anikha has revealed herself to be a former Television actor.
While the initial raids were at the Royal Suits Apartments in Kalyan Nagar, vital clues led the NCB to conduct raids at Nikoo Homes too. As per reports, a total of 170 MDMA tablets and 180 LSD blots were recovered from the spot.
In the interrogation, it has been revealed that this racket used to supply drugs to VIP’s, Sandalwood personalities and rich college students. NCB has already put these individuals under the scanner for drug usage.
The news will surely come as a shocker to the industry which has largely been away from controversies in recent times. However, it has to be noted that the investigation is at a nascent stage, and only time will reveal more details.
