This broadens the possibility of the next move of Pilot given the stalwart he is in the Rajasthan politics. He has been at the forefront of the party for over a decade. He is considered one of the brightest minds in the game. After he left the party, senior Congress leader, Shashi Tharoor tweeted,

“I am sad to see Sachin Pilot leave the Indian National Congress. I consider him one of the best and brightest and wish it had not come to this. Instead of parting, he should have joined the effort to make the party a better and more effective instrument for his, and our, dreams.”

Sanjay Jha Sacked

Late in the night, the congress also sacked senior spokesperson Sanjay Jha citing the reason as indiscipline. Jha has been vocal about the cracks in the party and has gone onto address them on different media channels. In the matter regarding Sachin Pilot, he had unequivocally supported Pilot who the party was not happy with. On one single day, the party has lost two senior workers.
