The Hijab row has now got international attention but the issue is growing in size and not seeing an end. The issue saw counterprotests from the student organizations like ABVP who went on to make the students wear the Saffron Shawls and come to their colleges. But now it’s a new add-on.
What is the story?
In the IDSG College located in the district of Chikkamagalur in Karnataka, a few Dalit students came out in the support of the girls who were not allowed to enter the classroom wearing a Hijab. These students donned a blue shawl and chanted Jai Bhim.
