The Hijab controversy seemed to reach its peak yesterday in Karnataka where the students became loud protestors. There an almost riot like situation where students wearing the Hijab and their supporters came in direct confrontation with the students wearing Saffron shawls. It was a heart wrenching scenario to see that educational institutions became a playground of communal affairs.
The Karnataka Govt has now intervened and has imposed section 144 in disturbed regions, particularly in the Shimoga District. The Govt has also announced a three day leave for schools and colleges across Karnataka.
Twitter like always became a playground for the same, and the issue was widely debated. Here are some popular Twitter reactions.

स्कूल में पढ़ना है तो स्कूल ड्रेस ही पहननी पड़ेगी, हिजाब नहीं। pic.twitter.com/YpS1IIzs2S— True Nationalist 🚩🇮🇳 (@KadalSaurav) February 9, 2022
#Rubika – Fact is, it is not #HijabBan but #Burqa and #Niqab. And it is for Uniform – Equality. But radicals trying to make it look communal – anti-Islam. And some Muslims are so dumb. They dont want equality when given, and later fight for their it. https://t.co/H38E8nWXWp
