Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley Died Of Torture By PM Modi: DMK’s Udayanidhi Stalin Courts Controversy

DMK youth wing secretary Udayanidhi Stalin has come into the news for making controversial remarks after he said that late Union ministers Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley died because of the pressure and torture from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Udayanidhi was responding to PM Modi’s allegations that he became a leader by bypassing several senior leaders in the party. In his speech, he also points out how BJP leaders like LK Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi, Venkaiah Naidu and others have been sidelined by PM Modi.

Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of late union minister Sushma Swaraj, reacting to Udhayanidhi’s comments wrote on Twitter: “@udhaystalin ji please do not use my Mother’s memory for your poll propaganda! Your statements are false!  PM @Narendramodi ji bestowed utmost respect and honour on my Mother. In our darkest hour PM and Party stood by us rock solid! Your statement has hurt us @mkstalin @BJP4India.

“His father and DMK President MK Stalin, at a meeting in Mettupalayam to seek votes for the DMK candidates, also urged the prime minister to go and see the status of the proposed AIIMS in Madurai, when he visits the city on April 2 for the election campaign.

“If you do not find the brick which was laid for a foundation, officials may tell that it was taken by Udayanidhi,” he said as Udayanidhi was campaigning in and around Madurai with a brick with AIIMS written on it.

Senior Stalin also hit out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for accusing his party of failing to safeguard women during its regime, saying he had no moral right to say so.

“What moral right Yogi (Adityanath) has to blame the DMK,” Stalin asked at an election meeting at Koundampalayam in the city.

Can this be true? What do you think?
