Your Favorite Maggi Has Become Expensive Now, Nestle Announces New Price Tag

All the noodle lovers out there we have bad news for you. The all-time favorite Indian Noodle Maggi has now become pricier. Nestle and Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) have announced rate hikes for major products.

Maggi sees a price hike

According to the reports, Nestle India has decided to hike the rates of Maggi noodles due to the rise in costs. The new rates have been enforced from Monday, March 14, 2022. The company has decided to raise the prices of Maggi noodles by 9 percent to 16 percent.

A 70-gram pack of Maggi will now cost Rs 14, which is Rs 2 higher than the earlier Rs 12. The price of a 140-gram magi pack has also been raised by Rs 3 per pack. Furthermore, the 560-gram pack of Maggi will now cost Rs 105, Rs 9 higher than the earlier price of Rs 96.

As a surprise to the consumers, Nestle India and Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) have hiked the rates of their caffeine products too. Along with Maggi noodles, tea, coffee, and milk have also been increased.

Nestle’s famous coffee, Nescafe, for a 50-gram pack will now cost Rs 150, Rs 5 more than the earlier price of Rs 145. The price of a 25-gram pack of Nescafe has been raised by 2.5 percent.

Along with this, Nestle’s milk powder has also witnessed a hike. A one-liter pack of Nestle A-plus milk will now cost Rs 78, Rs 3 more than the earlier Rs 75.

Reports also suggest that the shares of the company increased by Rs 54 or 0.31 percent on Monday. One share of Nestle India now values Rs 17,376.95. On March 2, 2022, the value of one share was Rs 17,844.
