Anand Mahindra Feels ‘Exhausted’Just Watching Sindhu’s Video
The video of training uploaded by the world champion stunned industrialist Anand Mahindra who felt exhausted after watching it. In his tweet, the Philanthropist wrote, “Brutal. I’m exhausted just watching this. But now there’s no mystery about why she’s the World Champ. A whole generation of budding Indian sportspersons will follow her lead & not shrink from the commitment required to get to the top….”
The tweet is accompanied by a video that shows the ace Indian badminton player training at Hyderabad’s Suchitra Badminton Academy where she was preparing for the World Championship. On Sunday, Sindhu became the first Indian to clinch a gold in the Badminton World Championships beating Nozomi Okuhara of Japan.

Had Been Preparing For Long, Says Sindhu
The 24-year-old World Champion said that she had been preparing for long. Sindhu thanked her coaches, parents, and trainer for her victory. She said, “Had been preparing for it for so long. Finally, the wait ended. It wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my parents, my coaches and my trainer (Srikanth Verma). And most importantly, I would like to thank my sponsors and all my fans who have supported me all along. Finally world champion 2019.”
During the match that made her the gold winner, PV Sindhu looked completely in control right from the start and scored eight consecutive points to win by 21-7,21-7.
