Aditya Pancholi, in an exclusive interview with Aaj Tak, talked about the harassment that his family is facing since his son, Sooraj Pancholi’s name is being linked to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. He said, “One foolish guy posted and all these major media picked it up and made it into an issue. This is not fair. Everyone has to be responsible, we had to go through so much pain.”
He added, “I am not on social media but they are trolling Sooraj that he is a ‘murderer’. This is the reason he had to turn his comments off. What is this?”
Aditya Pancholi then asked if there is any proof of the rumours that are being circulated about Sooraj Pancholi. “What is the proof? This is not right. We are not in Jungle Raaj.”
Commenting on Kangana Ranaut, he said, “Jis thaali mein khate hain usme chhed nahi karte hain (Do not dig a hole in the same plate you eat in).”
He added, “Kya bol sakte hai uss aurat k baare main, uspar humara defamation case bhi chal rha hai, (What can we say about this woman. We have a defamation case going on against her). She is not supposed to talk about me and my family”. He further asked what is the nepotism that she always talks about.
“She should stand up with Industry. What is her problem? She got a break, she got awards, she got rewards,” he said.
Quoting Kangana’s ‘If I’ll be wrong I will return my Padma Shri’ remark, Aditya Pancholi further said, “Tell her to return it now because she is wrong about Sushant Singh Rajput. His father filed a report in Patna in which there is no angle of nepotism mentioned. He clearly said that Section 306 is on Rhea. When Kangana was naming industry people, she actually wasted everyone’s time.”
On CBI probing the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Aditya Pancholi said, “Mil gaya na CBI inquiry (You got the CBI enquiry), I appreciate the movement of the people, the movement of the country, friends, family and fans of Sushant. Now let CBI do their work. How will the CBI work if people debate and these trials go on regularly. Let them do their job.” He further said that if there is anything about the case, it will come out.
The Sushant Singh Rajput death case is being probed by the CBI. On August 19, the SC allowed CBI to take control of the investigation. Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. On July 25, the late actor’s father KK Singh filed a complaint at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police Station.
