On Friday, it was one of the darkest days in the history of the Kannada Film Industry. Puneeth Rajkumar, one of the biggest pillars of the industry, passed away at just 46. He succumbed to a cardiac arrest on Friday morning.
Karnataka loses its Power Star
Karnataka lost one of its gems on Friday. Fondly called Appu, Puneeth Rajkumar earned the tag of Power Star after consistently doing well at the box office. After a gym session at home, Puneeth collapsed and was taken to a nearby clinic. He was then transferred to the Vikram Hospitals, but en route, he suffered a cardiac arrest. The doctors tried their best to revive the actor, but as per the doctors, Puneeth’s heart had already weakened and it was not possible to save him.
Trainer at the Affinity International Gym speaks about Puneeth’s fitness routine
The trainer who works at the Affinity International Gym said that Puneeth Rajkumar either does his workout at his home, at the Affinity Gym or at another gym that is located near his residence. Puneeth has a personal trainer and whenever he goes outstation for shoots or events, the trainer also accompanies him to ensure that he is in good fitness.
The trainer revealed that Puneeth had visited his gym on Thursday. He said that Puneeth was an easily approachable person and never had a celebrity air around him. During the second lockdown, for each member of the gym, Puneeth sent INR 5000 to their bank accounts.
As per the trainer, Puneeth never took any protein shake, at least when he was in the Affinity Gym. He opined that the personal trainer or any certified trainer would be aware of a person’s body and would never give a workout that could have side effects.
