The award from the Bill Gates was presented to PM Modi on Wednesday morning. “Managing human waste is one of the world’s oldest and toughest challenges. I would say most leaders are not willing to talk about it, in part, because the solutions aren’t that easy,” Gates said before he congratulated Modi.
“Due to a lack of toilets, several girls had to drop out of schools. Our daughters want to study, but because of the lack of toilets, they had to abandon their education midway and sit at home. The Swachh Bharat program has changed this, ” Modi said.
