During an interview, Panchayat 2 star Faisal Malik opens up about his friendship with co-stars Raghubir Yadav and Jitendra Kumar.
Panchayat cast in real life
Panchayat Season 2, the light-hearted show, on Amazon Prime Video, has once again given a heart-warming and satisfying experience to audiences that is lasting. Fans have loved the comedy-drama so much that it’s now part of day-to-day discussions. The eight-episodic comic series features Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Chandon Roy, Faisal Malik, and Neena Gupta in the top roles.
While we are already a fan of the story and the acting of each of the actors, we also can’t miss the bond between the four men working at the Panchayat office. Pradhan Ji, Upp Pradhan, Sachiv Ji, and the office attendant, these characters share a special bond and when they all come together we can’t just put our eyes off the screen.
The four important actors
Interestingly, the four actors are also good pals in real life too. During an exclusive interview with actor Faisal Malik, who plays the role of Prahlad (Upp-Pradhan) talked about his bond with his co-stars.
Faisal reveals that he is closest to Raghubir Yadav (who plays Pradhan in Panchayat 2). He said, “I liked working with Raghubir Yadav Ji. He never looks at the monitor after giving a scene. And he also told me to not look at it. And now, I also don’t look at the monitor. Raghu bhai is amazing. When he is on set, it feels like he is the youngest of all. All of us have a lot of fun when he is around. We all love him because of the kind of energy he carries with himself. I interact the most with him and I love his character.”
Speaking about the Sachiv Ji i.e Jitendra Kumar, he said, “I have always been a fan of Jitu. I used to stop him to tell him how much I love his work. And now I finally got a chance to work with him. He is a close friend now. He is an amazing actor. I believe that Jitu has a phenomenal future. He’ll do amazing films in the future. He deserved appreciation.”
Faisal Malik also expressed his gratitude toward TVF for providing him with a life-changing role. He said, “Firstly, I am a big fan of TVF. Secondly, the journey of TVF began in front of me and I have seen them grow. Arunabh Kumar’s name will be mentioned in media education in the future because he works with honesty. The audience of TVF is very genuine and they have built that audience with a lot of hard work. TVF has changed my life. I am grateful to Deepak, Chandan, and Arunabh.”
