‘Only Samosas At The White House’: Anand Mahindra Tweets As The Indian Origin Arvind Krishna Becomes IBM CEO

Arvind Krishna joins the club of Indian-origin Chief Executive Officers (CEO) supervising multinational companies in the United States. He becomes the CEO of IBM and this move was welcomed by many around the globe. One amongst them was Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra who congratulated the new IBM CEO in his amusing style.

Joining the classes of Sundar Pichai (Google), Satya Nadella(Microsoft) and Shantanu Narayen(Adobe); Arvind Krishna becomes another Indian to be leading a US tech company. He has now been appointed the new CEO of American MNC IBM. Meanwhile, Twitter rejoices Krishna’s success, but, it was Anand Mahindra who took the spotlight.

Known for his entertaining tweets, the chairman of the Mahindra group, threw out a tweet describing Krishna’s success as a ‘stunning endorsement of the managerial capabilities’.

His tweet read: “What a stunning endorsement of the managerial capabilities of Indian-origin managers. Satya, Sundar, Shantanu & Arvind running four US tech giants. This places a responsibility on Indian managers to demonstrate that they can take Indian companies to the top as well…!”

Samosa in the White House? 

That was not it, the 64-year-old added a little bit of humor to his next tweet which is quite hilarious. He said that if the White House was to organize a meeting of tech titans, they would serve samosas instead of hamburgers.
