Taliban is now celebrating their victory like never before after dominating its roots in the entire Afghanistan. As this militant group claims to have won, other Islamic militant groups like Al-Qaeda have been raising their heads in the name of Jihad to toil the world in its terror intentions. Al-Qaeda has been recently welcomed in Afghanistan and calls for freeing other Islamic lands in the world. No doubt, the first eye is towards Kashmir!
Kashmir The Next Target
Al-Qaeda has called upon the global Muslim community to “free” other Muslim land, putting Kashmir on the list of next targets of global jihad. The global terror group called for launching the next stage of the “struggle, the way for which has been paved by the victory of the defiant Afghan nation.
Besides Kashmir, it shortlisted the Levant, or the Mediterranean swath comprising Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon; Islamic Maghreb, or the region in northwest Africa consisting of Libya, Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania, Tunisia and Somalia; and Yemen as its priorities.
Al- Qaeda Is Operating From Pakistan
“With the help of Allah, this historic victory will open the way for the Muslim masses to achieve liberation from the despotic rule of tyrants who have been imposed by the West on the Islamic world,” said As-Sahab, the official media outlet of Al-Qaeda in Pakistan.
While the interesting thing is China’s Xinjiang and Russia’s Chechnya are excluded from the list. The omission of these regions from both sites of alleged atrocities on Muslims, is believed to be more political in nature. China and Russia have come out in recent months to support the Taliban.
As the US vacated its presence in Afghanistan in the most messy way imaginable, China and Russia have banded together to not only criticize the withdrawal but also support the Taliban. Certainly drastic developments and new coalitions are definitely proving a headache for India. Also if China becomes a strong ally of Afghanistan, this will result in India’s international boundaries where the entire country will be surrounded with enemies.
