However a rare incident happened where Pandit Rajesh Kumar, the last Hindu priest of the Rattan Nath temple, refused to leave the country despite being offered help. The priest reportedly said that he could not leave the temple as his ancestors had served the mandir for hundreds of years.

People Trying To Evade Afghanistan

Desperation was evident at Kabul’s Hamid Karzai Airport on Monday as people clung to the side of moving military planes.Yesterday, 10 people, including 2 Afghans who clung to a US Air Force plane to escape Taliban rule, lost their lives in a melee at the Kabul airport, as hundreds of people scrambled to board flights to escape the Taliban.

Afghanis rushing into the plane in hopes of escaping the country

Today morning at around 11:30am Indian Airforce plane landed in Gujarat taking more than 150 Indian passengers from Afghanistan including the Indian Ambassador Rudrendra Tandon, after taking a long route flight from the Hamid Karzai Airport Kabul airport, avoiding the skies of Afghanistan and neighbouring Pakistan.

The condition in the country is worsening day by day and still some are clinging to their religious ethos relented to their old traditions and mortgaging lives in the name of the almighty. If this continues there is no point blaming afterwards the country and its government of not taking proper measures. What to conclude this as? Foolishness or utter Bravery? What’s your thoughts on this??
