Tardar Sauce, most commonly known as Grumpy Cat was one of the first viral animal sensations on the Internet. She gained immense popularity after her family posted a photo of her on Reddit in September 2012. However, the social media audience initially thought that her grouchy face was photoshopped. As proof, her family uploaded a video of the cat on Youtube, which gained a lot of popularity.
Grumpy went on to achieve internet standard, being featured in countless memes and photoshopped images, and her Instagram account has more than two million followers.
Unfortunately, the Grumpy Cat is dead, Grumpy’s family announced via the official Twitter account of Grumpy Cat that she was suffering from a recent urinary tract infection. And despite being treated by top professionals, she couldn’t make it through.
