Earlier today, the makers of Bhajarangi 2 have released the teaser of the movie. Starring Hattrick Hero Dr. Shivarajkumar, the film has been directed by A Harsha while Jayanna and Bogendra, under the banner Jayanna Films, are bankrolling the movie. While the music has been scored by Arjun Janya, Swamy J has handled the lens. The film also stars Bhavana and Shruthi in prominent roles.
The flavor of the franchise stays
Going by the two-and-half minute teaser, it can be told that Harsha and co. have stuck to the genre of the franchise. A fantasy land with characters that look to have been inspired by tribals, it only needs to be seen now if there would be any scenes in the normal world. Without giving away the timeline of the movie, the makers have played their cards well.
Technically top-notch teaser
Especially in the cinematography department. The visuals look fresh and crisp. However, the DOP might have tried something different rather than using the cliched low-angle shots while introducing the main characters. Arjun Janya’s BGM is catchy but he could have been consistent throughout the teaser. Editing is good but there was scope for more scissor-work.
Shivanna at it, yet again
Although he does not have any dialogues to utter, Shivanna just dominates the screen with his presence. A lot of obstacles look to have been pitted against him, and he looks nowhere close to 60 in his avatar. His make-up is also great and adds to the charisma of the character.
Overall, the teaser of Bhajarangi 2 has managed to satisfy the expectations of the fans. However, the neutral viewers might wait for more promotional content before making a decision about the film.
