Director Prashant Neel To Shoot Biggest Climax Sequence For Prabhas’ Salaar; Per Scene Will Cost Rs 10 Crore

Director Prashanth Neel, who also helmed KGF Chapter 2, is all set to shoot a huge climax scene for Prabhas’ Salaar. The movie will be released next year but the exact date is yet to be announced.

KGF Chapter 2 has become the highest-grossing movie for this year. Standing strong with over Rs 1200 crore collection overall, the Yash-starrer performed extremely well, not just in India but also abroad. Director Prashanth Neel who has helmed the film has another responsibility on his shoulder in the form of Prabhas starrer Salaar.

Pan-India star Prabhas has become the primary choice for big-budget Telugu movies these days. Even though his last film Radhe Shyam wasn’t a huge success, there are high hopes for his upcoming film with Hombale Films.

 

Prashanth Neel is making Salaar, which is expected to feature several action sequences. The latest about the film is that the film’s climax action sequence will be a major highlight of the venture.

The Pan India film is being shot on a large scale. Makers have planned to make the climax of the movie very different. According to the reports, the climax scenes are expected to be the best scenes of Prabhas’ career. In a short video posted on Twitter on May 18 by the official Twitter handle of the movie, the crew was seen preparing for the huge action sequence.

Action sequence

With the climax scenes, the makers have also shot an action sequence in the middle of the sea. They are spending heavily on the film. The action sequence is reportedly 20 minutes long and the budget for this scene alone was around Rs 10 crore.

 

 

Speaking about it, producer Vijay Kirgandur has said, “Every month we will be shooting with Prabhas for 10-15 days and a week maybe without him. We are planning to complete the shoot by year-end. Content is out an out-action movie. Prabhas’ fans will enjoy the movie.”

Shruti Haasan is featured as a female lead in the movie opposite Prabhas. Jagapathi Babu, EEswari Rao, and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen in major roles. The movie will be released next year but the exact date is yet to be announced.
