The biggest stars of the Tamil Industry, Ajith Kumar & Thalapathy Vijay were all over the Internet for the reports of doing a multi-starrer pan-Indian film. A section of the media reported that director Venkat Prabhu was to direct a film in which both stars would be working together.
Multi-starrer pan-Indian film
Thalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith Kumar are two of the leading superstars in the Tamil Film Industry. For the past few days, reports were rife that the two A-listers are planning to join hands for a pan-India film, which is to be directed by Venkat Prabhu.
Venkat Prabhu’s father Gangai Amaren said that a big announcement would follow soon. Director Venkat Prabhu though, who hasn’t confirmed or denied the news, shared a gif image of a confused Kevin Hart. The fact is, Ajith and Vijay had earlier shared screen space in the 1995 Tamil film Rajavin Parvaiyile.

Brushing aside such rumors, sources close to Ajith and Vijay denied the news and added that they do not have any such plan.
Ramesh Bala, a movie analyst, and expert has also confirmed that these rumors are baseless. He tweeted, “There is news going around that Actor #AjithKumar and @actorvijay doing a Pan-India project..Checked with reliable sources.. They deny such a plan..”
Thalapathy Vijay will be seen next in director Vamshi Paidipally’s Thalapathy 66, which will hit the theatres in January 2023. He will then join hands with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalapathy 67.
Also, Ajith is busy with the production of his upcoming film, AK 61, with director H Vinoth. After AK 61, he will start working on Vignesh Shivan’s film.
