Big Boss is easily the highly watched reality show in India and its versions in the regional languages are also a super hit. The show has redefined the TRP of television media with the credit of having a record number of viewers. Now, the Bigg Boss Kannada Season 6 is in talks and all the eyes are there on the list of contestants participating in the show. It was kept secret all these days and today on the day of the grand opening of the show, Kiccha Sudeep is going to put an end to all the expectations. A Brand New Big Boss House
Bidadi’s innovative film city has been a hosting place for Big Boss Kannada for the last five seasons. Due to a fire accident that happened of late, the previous Big Boss house got flamed to ashes. So, this time, a brand new house has been set up to host the season 6 of Big Boss Kannada. It is way bigger than the previous one facilitated with powder room and recreational spaces. Also, this time, the hall, dining hall and bedrooms will be in stages and one has to take steps to move in between.
A Specially Designed Garden Area
One important feature of Season 6’s Big House is the Garden area. It is a place where people talk, gossip, relax, and have fun quarreling with their fellow participants. This season’s garden area has a special tree which is said to have imported from a foreign country. So, a specially designed garden area is definitely going to play a key role in this season.
50% are Semi-Celebrities
In season 5, Big Boss house had invited common people (who are not a celebrity) to participate in the show. It happened in season 4 too but Season 6 has given an utmost prominence to a common man. So, the show will be run by 18 contestants among whom, 50% are semi-celebrities and another 50% constitutes celebrities and common people. Big Boss Kannada, started as a Celebrity show has now become People’s show. In a way, it has created a platform where a Common man can participate and become a celebrity in less than 100 days.
Record Number Of Applications
When it comes to the selection process of participants for the show, it is indeed a laborious task. It is said that a total of 1,12,000 people have applied to participate in the show. In order to scrutinize them, Colors Kannada had worked in teams. For months together, a lot of activities were said to have conducted as a part of the selection process. After going through group discussions and one-on-one interviews, a team of 18 are ready to enter the Big Boss house.
So, for the next 100 days, Big Boss Kannada Season 6 is going to entertain people and as always, Kiccha Sudeep will be hosting the show.

Naveen Sajju
Naveen Sajju is a music director and playback singer. A Mysuru boy who has sung songs like Jamma Jamma and Yako Barlilla from Lucia. He turned music director with the movie Kanaka.
Suman Ranganath
A legendary actress who has appeared in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam movie, largely known for her looks and glamour. In Sandalwood, she was last seen in the movie Neer Dose.
Kavitha Gowda
Laxmi Baramma’s fame Kavitha Gowda, also known as Chinnu is a celebrity TV actress. She has also acted in movies like Srinivasa Kalyana.
Chandan Achar
Kirik Party fame Chandan Achar is a Ninasam trained actor who comes from the city of palaces, Mysuru. He was in Natana and other theatres before venturing into films. He has also acted with Golden Star Ganesh in Mugulu Nage.
Tulsi Prasad
An internet celebrity who became popular for all the wrong reasons, Tulsi Prasad comes from Hassan. He is known and badly criticized for his crazy dubsmash videos.
Akshatha Pandavapura
A theatre artist and a wannabe film actress. She has acted in a movie called Pallata.
Murali
Murali is known as the host of popular television cookery show ‘Oggarane Dabbe’.
Channappa
A singer who had managed to win the singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ season 11. He has also sung in a few Kannada movies as a playback singer.
Aniruddha Jatkar
An actor who is largely known as the son-in-law of late legendary actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan. He has acted in movies like Rama Shama Bhama, Thuntaata, and Neenello Naanalle.
Ranjani Raghavan
Putta Gowri’s fame Ranjani Raghavan is a known-name. She rose to fame with the serial Putta Gowri Maduve. Also, she has acted in a few finger-counting Kannada movies.
K R Pet Shiv Raj
The winner of the acting reality show, Comedy Khiladigalu, Shiv Raj is an impeccable performer. He has started acting in movies too and was last seen in the movie Ambi Ning Vayassaytho.
