The Delhi Files
Just days after the announcement of the movie The Delhi Files, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri revealed that the movie will show how Delhi has been destroying ‘Bharat’ for so many years.
Thanking the viewers for his film The Kashmir Files, Agnihotri tweeted, “I thank all the people who owned #TheKashmirFiles. For the last four years, we worked very hard with utmost honesty & sincerity. I may have spammed your TL but it’s important to make people aware of the GENOCIDE & injustice done to Kashmiri Hindus. It’s time for me to work on a new film (sic),”

In the next tweet, he wrote, “#TheDelhiFiles”, hinting at the title of his new movie.
Vivek Agnihotri, whose last film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has not only emerged as one of the most successful movies but also resulted in political debate, announced ‘The Delhi Files’ on April 15 through a tweet on his timeline.
Delhi has been destroying ‘Bharat’
Agnihotri in Chennai answered some questions about his next movie. He said, “It is not about Delhi, it just showed how Delhi has been destroying ‘Bharat’ for so many years. Who ruled the country in Delhi how they destroy everything right from Mughal kings to the British to modern times.”
“The movie will tell you lots of truth about Tamil Nadu also,” he said.
Just after his statement, Congress spokesperson Gourav Vallabh lashed out at Vivek Agnihotri, saying he is a government-sponsored producer who makes films over files and dared him to make a movie on “Gujarat Files”.
“Have some boldness to make a movie on Gujarat files, I will get you all the evidence of what the Chief Minister was doing…what Home minister of Gujarat was doing when Gujarat was burning. I will provide you all the relevant information and evidence provided you have that courage but unfortunately, I am aware that you are a government-sponsored producer, and director and make films over files,” said Vallabh.
“We are in a democracy. I understand Mr. Agnihotri can make anything of his choice. But, please get some courageousness because you are an independent filmmaker, and not a government-sponsored producer and director, don’t behave like one,” he added.
