‘ Ab Ye Anti – National Nahi Hain?’ Twitter Reacts On Kangana’s Abysmal Remark For Our Country

This time Kangana Ranaut has crossed all her limits with either a pro-Modi agenda and abysmal comments against the country by calling the sacred independence which we are cherishing for the past 75 years as a “Bheekh”! Actress Kangana Ranaut is facing the heat on social media for her recent comments on India’s independence. In a video that is being shared on Twitter, the actress is seen saying that India got real independence in 2014, and that what we got in 1947 was ‘bheek’.

The Modi Bhakt Was Speaking At A Media Conclave

BJP’s Pilibhit MP Varun Gandhi shared a video of Ranaut’s remarks on his Twitter handle. In a 24-second clip distributed widely, Ranaut says India’s Independence in 1947 was not freedom but “bheek” (alms). “And we got real freedom in 2014”. The actress, who was speaking at a media conclave, is being called out by Twitter users who said her Padma Shri should be taken back for insulting freedom fighters. Some of them even said the actress should be booked for sedition.

Actor Swara Bhasker reacted to the clip and wrote, “Who are the idiots who are clapping is what I want to know.”

Earlier Kangana Was Glorifying Godse

In January this year, Kangana was called out for allegedly glorifying Nathuram Godse, the man who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi. On Gandhi’s death anniversary on January 30, the actress had posted a few photos of Godse and tweeted, “Every story has three sides to it, yours, mine and the truth …. A good story teller neither commits nor conceals… and that’s why our textbooks suck … full of exposition #NathuramGodse”.

Kangana was awarded the Padma Shri on Monday. She had said that the award is a reply to all those who question her statements on national issues. But now the question seems valid, did she really deserved a Padma Shri?
