Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on Friday leaving crores of his fans in mourning. It was an unexpected demise considering Puneeth had remained fit always. His passing away will be a massive setback to the state of Karnataka.

Just 46 years old, on Friday morning, reportedly after completing his gym session, Puneeth Rajkumar collapsed. He was first taken to a family doctor and after an ECG showed signs of a heart attack, he was shifted to the Vikram Hospitals. However, en route, he suffered a cardiac arrest. The doctors tried cardiac massage for three hours but it was not enough to revive him.
Puneeth’s audio clip a few hours before demise goes viral
Now, an audio clip featuring Puneeth Rajkumar is going viral on social media. It is from a phone call that happened between Puneeth and Manjunath, a film distributor, just a few hours before his sudden demise.
A couple of days ago, Puneeth Rajkumar had attended the pre-release event of Bhajarangi 2, the film featuring his brother Shivaraj Kumar. Yash had also been part of the function. The trio had even danced on stage.
On Friday, the film was released at the theatres. In the phone call, Puneeth was heard taking a review of the movie. The distributor replies that barring the slow first half, the film was good. Puneeth later asks which film was running at Shankar Nag. The distributor says that the theatre is running three shows of Bhajarangi 2. Later, Puneeth said that on November 1st, he will be sending a teaser and requested Manjunath to play it at as many locations as possible.
