The Hindu population in Pakistan

Hindus are the biggest minority community in Pakistan. Although the official numbers say that around 75 lakh Hindus live in the country, members from the community say that the number is 90 lakhs. Apart from Karachi, Lahore, and other major cities, festivities will also be held in Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Jamshoro, Badin, Sanghar, Hala, Tando Adam, and Shahdadpur. The majority of the Hindu population is in the Sindh province in Pakistan.

Twitterati trolls Imran Khan

Just a day after his army killed 10 Indians at LoC, Imran Khan came forward and wished the Hindu citizens of ‘his’ country a happy Diwali. It did not seem to add up, and considering the oppression the Hindus go through in Pakistan, Imran’s wishes did seem like for the sake of it. Twitteratti wasted no time in pointing this out and made sure the comments section was filled with many trolls. There were a few comments like “You could have whatsapped them!” as well. Here are a few more tweets in this regard.
