On Saturday, the people of Uttar Pradesh’s Great Noida had to gasp for breath when they saw a mysterious object flying in the sky. Many suspected it to be an alien or a UFO.
The incident took place on Saturday morning when some of them spotted a strange flying object in the sky in the Dankaur area of Greater Noida. The object further landed in a canal near the Bhatta Parsaul village and immediately attracted crowds. As per the officials, many of them thought it to be an alien. As per the SHO of Dankaur, Anil Kumar Pandey,
“It was a balloon filled with air that had gone up in the sky and later came down and got stuck in the bushes along the canal. A part of the balloon was touching the flowing water in the canal which had led the balloon to shake a little. Unbeknown to the spectators, this made for an anxious watch.”
‘Not An Alien’
The SHO later added that the anxiety also came from the unusual shape of the balloon. He further said,
“It was shaped like the Ironman (fictional superhero character) given its color and design. This was an unusual sight to some people even thought it was an alien or something like that and was apprehensive.”
The officials later confirmed that the balloon was fished out around noon and it had come down as it was losing its gas. They also confirmed that there was nothing harmful about the object. It only made for an anxious watch as it floated in the air for a long time. Ever since the area 51 conspiracy has been floated, there has been a massive debate over the aliens but the incident in Uttar Pradesh failed to contribute anything to that debate.
