On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attacked the opposition parties for brewing mafia elements in the state during their rule of 15 years.

Comparing his government with the previous governments, he said that the current government is taking decisive action against the mafia elements. He was addressing the BJP workers un the Malhani Assembly constituency in Jaunpur ahead of the by-election that is scheduled to take place on the 3rd of November. Adityanath also said that the major difference between the BJP and the opposition is the decisive action taken by the BJP and zero tolerance towards crime. He said,

“It is no secret that during the past 15 years, the opposition parties in the state have only nurtured these mafias. The mafia elements grabbed the land of the poor and set up their empire with the help of political parties.”

He encouraged the party workers to spread the message of development and take people out of the atmosphere of negativity. He also lauded the work done by the workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and called the work as beyond ordinary.
