Actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in tragic circumstances yesterday. Preliminary reports suggest that the actor was suffering from depression, and this drove him to take the drastic decision. The news was a shocker for Bollywood and the general public, as the actor was just 34 years old.
Sushant was found hanging at his residence
As per the statements of Sushant’s house-help, the actor drank a glass of juice at around 10 am, and he then went and locked himself inside his room. A few hours later, the house-help tried to contact Sushant but he did not respond. They had to break into his room, and it is then that they saw the actor hanging. The police reportedly found medical prescriptions and medicines related to the treatment of depression at the residence.
Sushant’s maternal uncle alleges foul play
On the other hand, Sushant’s maternal uncle, RC Singh, in Patna, said that his nephew had not committed suicide, and demanded a detailed investigation by the police. He alleged that Sushant was murdered and that there seems to be a conspiracy behind the actor’s death.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family have left for Mumbai to perform the final rites of the actor. BJP MLA Niraj Kumar, who happens to be a relative of Sushant, is also accompanying the family. Mr. Niraj also said that if required, the family could ask for an investigation by the police.
