On June 6th, the makers of the movie ‘777 Charlie’ released a video called ‘Life of Dharma’, on the occasion of the film’s lead actor, Rakshit Shetty’s birthday. Ever since the video was published, the short clip has become viral on the internet. Many aspects of this video were relished by the audience, and in this article, we furnish you with 10 reasons why ‘Life of Dharma’ is both kickass and unique.
Our favorite side of Rakshit returns
While in Kirik Party, Rakshit essayed two shades of a character, in ASN, his character was modeled around the story. Finally, after a very long gap, we get to see a Rakshit we all loved in Simple Aag Ond Love Story and a few of his earlier movies. ‘Dharma’ looks to be more relatable than that of Rakshit’s characters in the recent movies.
Video to the point
In some cases, makers tend to forget the purpose of a promotional video and take a distracting deviation. In this video though, the entire footage is devoted to the title – ‘Life of Dharma’. That gives a pleasing feel to the viewers.

This dialogue, we feel, marked a clear distinction between ‘Life of Dharma’ and the other videos that are made to serve the same objective. Despite the repetitiveness, not once do we feel underwhelmed about this dialogue.
Catchy BGM
The above dialogue and the other sequences have been stitched together wonderfully, all aided by some catchy BGM. The rhythmic flow of the tones adds to the essence of the video.
Terrific Edit
This, by far, is the foremost reason why this video has done exceptionally well. Flipping forward and coming back, along with the intelligent use of loops and repetition made for an absolutely enriching experience to the video-watchers.
Interesting Characters
Although the video focusses on Dharma’s life, the makers have almost introduced all the major characters of the movie. While each one evokes surprise, there is also that added fun to travel and know more about them.
Fun & Relaxed Mood
Thankfully, after all that we have gone through in the last three months, we do need a dose of some laughs and relaxed entertainment. 777 Charlie looks to be well set in achieving that.
The right amalgamation
The successful blending of ‘behind the scene’ shots and the actual sequences adds a layer of uniqueness to the proceedings. The mixing has been done carefully and is hence, thrives in broadcasting the right signals.
Not a regular offering
One thing we can be sure of after watching the video is that ‘777 Charlie’ will not be yet another run-of-the-mill movie. The movie oozes of novelty and freshness, something that Sandalwood is in dire need of.
Curiosity multiplied
All said, ‘Life of Dharma’ has enormously multiplied the curiosity surrounding the movie. If the makers can become with similar promotional content, we sure are going to have our notes ready on the table.
