Controversial personality Swara Bhasker is back in the news again. This time though, it is not because of her political views, but it is related to her actual profession. Yes, the reason for her trending on Twitter is Amazon Prime Video’s latest web-series called Rashbhari, in which Swara plays the lead role.

The latest offering from the streaming giant in India has been a long pending one. Shot years ago, on Friday, the web-series has gone live on the OTT platform. The movie revolves around the relationship between a teacher and her student. The role of the teacher has been played by Swara Bhasker.
Netizens are not impressed with the series
A certain section of the internet, who were already against Swara for her political statements, got more fodder to chew when the actress’s web-series got really bad reviews. Rated 2.9 on IMDB, Swara is being trolled mercilessly on the platform. Apart from this, many were also not impressed with the way Rashbhari showcased the character of a teacher, someone who usually commands respect in society.
