Miscreants painted ‘sorry’ all over the premises of a private school and on the streets surrounding it in Sunkadakatte, northwest Bengaluru. The reason for this act is unknown and no identifications or arrests have so far been made in the incident.
Sorry painted all over the place
Early morning on Tuesday local residents and school authorities were shocked to find the word ‘Sorry’ painted in red, bold letters on the stairs, walls, and roads. According to reports, school management suspected that it was the handiwork of some students who might be upset that their issues were not being addressed.
The painting appearing all over the steps is of Shanthidhama School which comes under the Kamakshipalya police station limits. The school authorities notified the police and a police team visited the spot, and are checking CCTV footage to track the miscreants.
CCTV Footage
CCTV footage shows two men riding up on a bike. They carry a big bag usually used by food delivery boys. They then take the paint out and write ‘sorry’ all over the area.
Commenting on the incident, police said that measures have been taken to trace those behind scribbling on the streets and on the walls.
“Two bike-borne persons were seen in the CCTV footage. Efforts on to identify and trace them,” said Dr. Sanjeev Patil, DCP West Bengaluru.
