The popular talk show, Weekend With Ramesh, hosted by Ramesh Arvind, is all set to go on air this weekend. During a press conference on Monday, the WWR team revealed that Ramya will be the first guest on the show.

The famous Television presenter Ramesh Aravind is back with the fifth season of his popular reality show, ‘Weekend with Ramesh’. The launch of the iconic show was held on Monday and had the Chief Content officer, of Zee, Raghavendra Hunsur inaugurating the show in a remarkable manner.
“We are back with the fifth season of one of the most-loved shows on Kannada television. To be honest, Weekend with Ramesh is very close to my heart, and more than the audience, I was eager to work on the show again. I really enjoy the process of meeting new people and listening to their life stories. With the new season, we hope to present our fellow Kannadigas with even more inspiring stories,” said Ramesh. The show promises to be even more exciting and entertaining than ever and will see the versatile actor conversing with well-known achievers from different walks of life including business, politics, sports, and entertainment.
“We are eager to show several more inspirational and thought-provoking tales of Karnataka’s famous personalities through the light-hearted and fun-filled chat show,” Ramesh added. Season 5 premieres on March 25 and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm.
Expected guests
During a press conference on Monday, the WWR team revealed that Ramya will be the first guest on the show. The others set to appear in the show this season include actors Dhruva Sarja, Rachita Ram, Malashree, and cardiologist Dr. Manjunath, among others.
Channel head Raghavendra Hunsur told E Times, “Ramya will be the first guest on the show for this season, followed by actor Prabhudeva. We have already shot the episode with Prabhudeva. Ramya’s episode will be shot on Tuesday. We are now in talks with many celebrities, including Jaggi Vasudev and politicians, to appear on the show. In fact, several politicians have approached us to feature them. But as of now, no decision has been made in this regard.”
It is also said that the channel is trying hard to bring in former Indian cricketers Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid and cardiac surgeon Devi Shetty to the show, along with others. However, the line-up of the guests is yet to be confirmed.
Weekend With Ramesh is a chat show where the guests often talk about their childhood memories as well as incidents from their careers.
