When an overnight downpour led to a crisis-like situation in the country’s IT hub, Twitterati did not hold itself back and started reacting to Bengaluru’s present situation.
Bengaluru’s present situation
Important areas of Bengaluru, which house some of the leading companies and posh apartment complexes, have been facing massive floods after heavy rainfall in the city. Localities like Bellandur, Whitefield, Sarjapur, HSR Layout, Kormangala, etc. are waterlogged creating a huge problem for commuters.
Videos have gone viral on social media where you can see main roads sunk in deep waters, floods inside housing societies, and office-goers struggling amidst flooded streets.
Meanwhile, Twitter was divided with mixed opinions regarding the flood situation in the city. While some shared sarcastic memes and questioned the authorities, some others blamed climate change for the situation in Bengaluru.
