Yash’s statement surely proves the deep respect he still has for Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar. Despite the two being extreme competitors and the resulting ‘rivalry’ between their respective fan associations, the two actors remained on the best of terms till the end and always looked out for one another.
Even before the demise, Puneeth had urged Yash to promote Gandhada Gudi as it talks about the wonders of the wilderness in Karnataka. In an interview, Yash speaks about the incident, he said, “Puneeth told me, “I am making a cinema called Gandhada Gudi. I know you never Tweet about any cinema but this one is special. You must share it.” Yash then asks if it was a documentary film, James actor said “No it’s not a documentary, it’s a cinema where we have covered the wildlife of Karnataka.”
