Kiccha Sudeep and Jacqueline Fernandez were also seen in the song Ra Ra Rakkamma, which was released in all 5 languages. The new item song from Vikrant Rona is the first song from the film’s album. Interestingly, the lead actor explains behind-the-scene incidents from the dance song shoot.

While promoting his film, Kichcha Sudeep in his interaction with the media, explains how his choreographer tricked him for a dance song with Jacqueline Fernandez.

“There’s an interesting story behind the Ra Ra Rakkamma song. Before the shoot, we had multiple discussions about it. And seeing how big this song can get, I decided to approach Jacqueline Fernandez. Thankfully, her manager was kind to me and looked up a date when the actress was available.”

Jani Master, who was choreographing this song was excited about this shoot. He considered making this music video in a greater fashion. But when it comes to catchy dance steps or the hook steps as they are popularly known, Jani had some secret plans that even Sudeep couldn’t guess.

“Right in front of me things were happening and I couldn’t guess. Never in my life, I was tricked in such a way. Initially, when we discussed the song and my involvement in it, I hardly had a screen presence or any dance moves. I was told that my role was similar to what I did in the ‘Aakashane Adarisuva’ song from Kotigobba 3. I was prepared for that.”

“While I reached the sets on Day 2, I was given a shock by my choreographer. He asked me to get prepared for a Hook-Step with Jacqueline.”

Jani Master who initiated the Ra Ra Rakkamma song is popular for his choreography for the song like ‘Arabic Kuthu’ in ‘Beast’, ‘Whattey Beauty’ from ‘Bheeshma’, ‘Butta Bomma’ from ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, and ‘Srivalli’ from ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.

Jani Master’s secret plan

Confused about the things happening around him, Sudeep confronts Jani Master and questions him about this decision. Meanwhile, Jacqueline too approached the actor and explained how excited she was to do a Hook-step with him. By now there were shivers through the body, explains Sudeep.

“Before discussing with me, the team had already made adjustments for my shoot. And probably everyone was informed about my dance with Jacqueline. It was a matter of pride now and I had no choice but to go on the floor with the actress. I, then, asked my choreographer to take direct takes and no rehearsals.”

“The major challenge was to dance above a table. It is completely different when you dance on the ground, but dancing over a table gets you more and more attention. The entire crew will be only watching you and any mistakes could have been unacceptable to me.”

“But as the shoot commenced, everything was nicely done and I had performed well. The scene that you see in the original video song was the only shot that was taken in the film. Jani too praised me for the same,” Sudeep concludes.
