Railway Ministry on Wednesday introduced Karnataka’s very own automatic Railway Coach Washing Plant. The plant which is installed at Bengaluru City Railway Station will save water, cost, time and manpower to clean up trains.
Automatic Railway Coach Washing Plan
For the first time in history, an automated train coach washing plant has been installed in Karnataka for washing trains.
The Ministry of Railways has shared a video of 47 seconds in a tweet. In this video, you can see the train coach being cleaned quickly in less time than the washing plant.

Clean journey for passengers
In the tweet, the ministry of the railway has said that the first automatic railway coach washing plant in Bengaluru, Karnataka is efficient and timely cleaning the coaches.
This plant would save water, money, and manpower. Hence, it also ensures a clean journey for passengers.
The cleaning of trains in this washing plant is the same as that of coaches of Delhi Metro.
