Well-known Kannada actor and comedian Bullet Prakash breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru today. The actor was 44 years old.
A well-known face in the Sandalwood film circles
Prakash is a well-known face in Sandalwood Film Circles, having acted with almost every top actor in the industry. The prefix “Bullet” got attached to his name after his love for riding the “Royal Enfield” became popular in the industry.
While he starred in close to 300 movies, some of his famous films include Mast Maja Maadi (2008), Aithalakkadi (2010) and Mallikarjuna (2011). The 44-year-old was also seen in the second season of the Kannada Bigg Boss.
Bullet Prakash recently entered into politics with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Liver-infection said to be the reason for demise
On March 31st, the popular actor was rushed to the hospital owing to gastric issues. The condition deteriorated as issues related to kidney and liver cropped up.
Earlier today, Fortis Hospital issued a statement that the actor was kept on a ventilator and his condition was being monitored. Prakash’s son also asked the fans of the actor to remain calm amidst the situation.
However, Bullet Prakash breathed his last a few hours ago. The actor reportedly lost 35 kgs in the last five months and since then, he had not been keeping well.
