The Oscar Awards 2022 was in the news after Hollywood actor Will Smith slapped the host and stand-up comedian Chris Rock on stage. Reacting on the same many Bollywood celebrities gave their thought on the event.

The MIB actor’s action has left people divided, many are taking to social media to express their opinion. And the latest one to do so is Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. She took to her Instagram stories to express her support for Will Smith.
Sharing a picture of Will hitting Chris Rock, Kangana wrote, “If some idiot used my mom or sister’s illness to make a bunch of fools laugh I would slap him like @willsmith did … bada** move…hope he comes to my #lockup”.
‘Lock Upp’ is a reality show hosted by Kangana, where celebrities are locked up in a prison and have to finish tasks to get basic comforts.

What really happened
Will Smith had smashed comedian Chris Rock onstage after he got offended at the latter’s joke made towards his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. After the incident, many in the ceremony also looked stunned by the altercation. Twitter was flooded with memes and jokes after the incident was viral.

Previously, Jada Pinkett Smith had told that she shaved her head after struggling with alopecia. Initially, Smith was laughing but Jada looked impacted by the joke. Smith then took to the stage to beat Rock. A few minutes after the incident, Smith was announced Best Actor at the Oscars. And while he accepted the award and gave a speech, he apologized for his behavior.
