Over the last few months, actress Kangana Ranaut has been very active on social media. Be it seeking justice for late Sushant Singh Rajput or be it publicly slamming certain members of the Hindi film industry, Kangana has been expressing her thoughts very clearly. Recently, in her tweets, the actress had targetted the Mumbai Police, questioning if she will be safe in Mumbai.
Replying to the same, Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut had urged the actress to not come back. He said that this is an insult to the Mumbai Police, adding that the Home Ministry should take action over it.
Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai, after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir? https://t.co/5V1VQLSxh1

Now, Kangana has replied to Raut. In a tweet, she wrote, “Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?”
Kangana is currently residing at her home in Manali with her family. The actress went there after the lockdown was announced. In Manali, Kangana has been spending quality time with her family. She has been sharing beautiful pictures from her time in the city.
Last month, the actress made headlines when she claimed that gunshots were fired near her Manali residence. The police, however, did not find anything after the CCTV footage of the house was scanned.
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut asked actress Kangana Ranaut to refrain from travelling back to Mumbai after she made a statement that she feared the city police force more than the ‘movie mafia’.
The actress had tweeted that she would require security either from Haryana or Central government and would not accept protection from Mumbai police to expose the alleged ‘drug mafia’ in Bollywood as the probe into late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death intensifies.
The actress had also tagged BJP MLA Ram Kadam in her tweet, an action that drew the ire of Shiv Sena and Congress.
