The England all-rounder is quite amused with Virat Kohli as he utters his name when an opposition’s wicket falls. Ben Stokes in a tweet on Sunday said he might delete his Twitter account soon due to Indian captain Virat Kohli.
Ben Stokes wants to delete his account
As Team India was playing against their arch-rival Pakistan in their Cricket World Cup 2019 match at Manchester, Ben Stokes posted a tweet mentioning that he is now tired of being mentioned in tweets which suggest that Kohli takes his name every time he celebrates the falling of wicket of his opposition. He said, “I may delete Twitter just so I don’t have to see another tweet reading “He’s saying Ben Stokes” (when he’s clearly not)in reply to a video of Virat saying you know what it was funny the first 100,000 times,” Stokes wrote on Twitter.

This has been the funniest joke so far in cricket history which has stood long and has over the years resulted in some of the finest memes you can find. His tweet went viral as soon as he tweeted, wasting no time in replying with GIFs of the Indian captain celebrating on the ground while speaking out the curse word. Actor Jaaved Jaaferi was the first among those who had initially made this joke viral.

Kohli enjoyed the winning run in the tournament by beating Pakistan in their 4th match. India remains unbeaten in the tournament alongside New Zealand and is now ranked 3rd in the points table. Their next challenge will be Afghanistan on this Saturday on Hampshire Bowl, Southampton.
