The Interview
In an interview with Dighvijay News, a reporter asked Bollywood actor Anupam Kher to talk about the Kannada Film industry being incomplete without Dr. Rajkumar.
“It’s never an incomplete feeling, the feelings are always there. The fact that after the interview you came back to Rajkumar Ji and it’s because you have not forgotten him. Dr. Rajkumar’s performance will always linger on. His dialogues will always be there. Same way Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, and Dileep Kumar’s performances will always be there. The best part about art is, it lives (forever) That’s the beauty of art.”
The veteran actor was also asked to share a few words on Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar and his passing away. The 68-year-old said, “I was very sad about that and was very upset. I never met him, but I knew he was a Kind man. I said my condolences to Shiva Rajkumar. Punneth was a good person and he was well-known for his charity. I feel sorry for his fans also, but that’s how the life is all about. Even I lost my dear friend Satish Kaushik, he is my pal for 48 years. But life has to move on, I think of his laughter, his smile, and Yes I move on.”
Meanwhile, Ghost is touted to be a big-budget film. According to reports, the film has no female lead as the story is constrained to a specific event and the screenplay does not allow for any wiggle room. The film also features Malayalam superstar Jayaram.
