After the mammoth success of Yash starrer KGF 2, fans are now eagerly awaiting another installment. KGF director Prashanth Neel has said that the success of the first two films has put a ‘compulsion’ to make the third part. And now it looks both Yash and Neel could once again come together for KGF 3 sooner than we think.
KGF 3 soon?
While everyone is anticipating updates about KGF 3, there are no official updates from the filmmakers yet. However, recently Raveena dropped a big hint about KGF 3.
Recently, while walking out of an event, Raveena Tandon, who played the part of Ramika Sen in KGF Chapter 2, was welcomed with camera flashes of the paparazzi.
Among the crowd, a photographer said, “Now, we are waiting for KGF 3. When will it come?”
To this, Raveena gave a surprising response. She said, “It will come very soon.”
Well, this could be a hint from the 48-year-old and the makers might have plans of dropping some official announcement soon. Moreover, the biggest aspect that has left fans surprised, is ‘Why has Yash still not changed his ‘Rocky Bhai’ avatar?’ He can be still seen with long hair and a long beard, carrying the same swag as the character in KGF. Does it mean both Yash and Neel are planning to make the third sequel as soon as possible and within 2 years? Well, for this question to be answered we have to wait with our fingers crossed.
Neel’s take on KGF 3
Meanwhile, speaking about KGF 3, Prashanth Neel in his old interview said, “There is definitely a possibility of Chapter 3. That also comes out of compulsion. People have loved this world, they’ve loved this character and we are gonna keep it going. We don’t know when, but we are gonna keep it going”.
He added, “Of course, we have an idea. We had an idea for it a long time back actually, but right now we just want to take a big break and we will definitely come back to make that.”
Last month, KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur confirmed in an interview that the writing process for the third film in the franchise will begin after October this year and then the new film may hit theatres in 2024. He also said that they plan a “Marvel-like universe” for the film franchise.
