It was an emotional moment for the fans of Rahul Dravid as the legend was back on Television in an Indian jersey, although in a different capacity. He is currently the Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team that has travelled to Sri Lanka to take part in a limited-overs tournament.
Rahul Dravid is India’s Head Coach for SL Tour
With the senior squad involved in the Test series in England, the coaching staff has been assigned to that tournament. However, BCCI planned an ODI and T20I series for the limited-overs specialists so that they are not short on game time.
A young team was selected to play for Team India along with the experienced likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya. Rahul Dravid, who has coached U19 and India A teams before, was chosen as the Head Coach of the squad.

Rahul Dravid can be called as one of the unsung heroes of Indian cricket. A thorough gentleman, Dravid has earned crores of followers due to the way he conducts himself on and off the field.
It had been a while that he was seen live on a TV screen since he has not been coaching in IPL as well. Hence, when he made an appearance on live TV, that too in the Indian jersey, the fans could not stop raving about it.
