Kangana Ranaut has been involved in the nepotism debate for far too long and has been looked at as the flagbearer of outsiders. Now, a video has been surfaced which indicates otherwise.
The twitter handle @neeljoshii shared an old interview of Kangana Ranaut where she was asked about the nepotism debate. This was before the Koffee With Karan episode. In the interview, she is seen praising Mahesh Bhatt.

When she was asked about how she comes from the outside and makes a mark without having a godfather, she replied,
“It really doesn’t matter. It’s hard to get the first break. Once your film releases, It’s up to the audiences. So many of them have been rejected, no matter where you come from, mountains like me or California, it really doesn’t matter. It’s the people who decide. Nothing really matters. Each one has their own struggle to go through.”
Using Star Boyfriend To Get To The Top
In the same interview, the journalist asks if it is okay to have a superstar boyfriend and use him to get to the top, Kangana replied,
“It’s perfectly okay. There’s nothing wrong with this.”
The video has now gone viral on social media and people have begun calling Kangana a hypocrite. Actress Taapsee Pannu who was called a B-grade actress by Kangana quoted the video and wrote,
“Arre!??? Toh ab final kya hai? Matter karta hai to be from the ‘inside’ or no. Yaar yeh sab kuch bohot confusing hota jaa raha hai. I’m gonna sign out of this before I forget ki mera stand kya hai.”
