China has till now reported over 300 deaths and 1,400 infected due to Coronavirus. Many countries have suspended flights to China or are denying entry to foreigners, who had recently been to the virus hit nation. Amid all this, a Taiwanese woman who was unaware of the scary events happening in China was stopped by her pet from going to Wuhan by destroying her Passport, possibly saved her.
Ripping the passport
A Golden Retriever named Kimi ripped its owner’s passport just days before her flight to Wuhan. At one point, the dog might just have been hungry or annoyed, but at the same point, this small act of mischief might have protected her owner.
The dog’s keeper posted pictures of her chewed-up passport on Facebook. In the pics, the Golden Retriever seems very blameworthy.
The woman also shared pictures of the mess on Facebook, saying, “Once I got back to the room and found this scene! Can someone help me explain this…”
“I was very annoyed when I saw my passport ripped. And then I saw the headlines about the coronavirus spreading in Wuhan a few days later,” she said. “I was reflecting back to the day when my passport was ripped.”
Luckily survived
The woman posted an update on Facebook to her previous post, saying, “Do you guys remember the passport? Throwback: this kid is really protecting me. Following the day when my passport was ripped apart, the virus started to go where I basically planned to go. I think about it now, and it’s very concerning. Luckily, you(the dog) stopped my trip,” she wrote.
Considering the passport that was ripped apart, she was “reunited” with her family for the New Year and managed to avoid the disturbance of the virus.
“I wish people all over the world can sustain this virus crisis. And we now have to wear masks and wash more and clean our hands when we go out,” she concluded.
