A few days ago Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended an event called ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ where he addressed students who will be up against their board exams next month. During the event, the Prime Minister asked them to memorize Kumble bowling with a broken jaw and also the historic partnership between VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid in the historic Kolkata Test. Former India captain Anil Kumble on the remark thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he used his example to motivate students before exams.
The Jumbo is thankful

Being an example for students
The Prime Minister had mentioned both Kumble’s efforts and the 376-run partnership between Dravid and Laxman as the “power of motivation and positive thinking”, which helped India frame an unbelievable twist and script a famous win after following on. After Modi’s remark, Anil Kumble was quick to react and tweeted a thankful message.
Kumble wrote: “Honoured to have been mentioned in #ParikshaPeCharcha2020 Thankyou Hon. PM @narendramodi Ji. Best wishes to everyone writing their exams.”
