“These Dogs couldn’t save Modi’s Film now they are barking at Pathaan”: Prakash Raj

Prakash Raj said people calling for the ban and boycott of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan are just ‘barking’ and ‘won’t bite’.

Prakash Raj on boycott gang

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Pathaan’ has emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film worldwide. It has grossed Rs 811 crore worldwide in 12 days, beating the likes of Baahubalii: The Conclusion’ and ‘Dangal’.

Before Pathaan’s release, there was a call to boycott ‘Pathaan’ on social media as its song ‘Besharam Rang’ had humiliated some people. As the film continues to emerge as a success worldwide, Prakash Raj slammed the boycott gang for banning ‘Pathaan’.

Prakash Raj said that at the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters in Kerala, “They wanted to ban Pathaan. It’s doing Rs 700 crore. These idiots, bigots…who wanted to ban Pathaan, did not run Modi’s film (PM Narendra Modi) for Rs 30 crore. They are just, you know… barking, won’t bite. Sound pollution.”

Criticizing The Kashmir Files

The actor even criticized Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files saying, “Kashmir Files is one of the nonsense films, but we know who made it. Shameless. International jury spits on them. The director is asking why I am not getting Oscar. He will not even get a Bhaskar. I tell you because there is a sensitive media out there. Here you can make a propaganda film. According to my sources, they have invested around Rs. 2000 crore to only make films like this. But you can’t fool people all the time.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Prakash Raj was seen in the Tamil film Varisu alongside Thalapathy Vijay and the Telugu film Waltair Veerayya alongside Chiranjeevi.
